Jon M. Savat

Senior Vice President-Production

Jon Savat has 27 years of experience in the real estate industry. His job at Bell is one of expansion. "I am in charge of expanding the Bell presence to other markets outside of the Twin Cities." With Savat's help, the Bell name is now in Brainerd, Minnesota and Siren, Wisconsin. If Savat has his way, Bell will soon be visible in cities such as Omaha and Chicago.

Savat came to Bell in March of 2003. "I was attracted to the stability, longevity and entrepreneurial spirit here at Bell." Savat was also impressed with Bell's owner, Gary Kirt. "Gary put together one of the best mortgage delivery systems I've ever seen. It's one of the slickest, fastest, most powerful mortgage programs out there."

Relationships at Bell are another draw for Savat. "Bell is truly like a family. The company treats employees very well and recognizes ideas and achievements." In turn, Savat says the employees respect the company. "People here spend money like it is their own."

Savat's mortgage-banking career prior to Bell includes six years as Senior Vice President of Principal Residential Mortgage, based out of Des Moines, Iowa. Savat focused on recruiting and retaining the company's sales force. Savat was then hired on in the same capacity at TCF Mortgage Corporation where he spent three years as Senior Vice President of Retail Production.

Savat lives in Maplewood with his wife and two children. He spends his free time outdoors hunting and fishing. Savat also likes to keep a close eye on Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey.
